What to expect during drying
Drying equipment runs continuously and makes some noise. It works best when it stays where it's placed and doors and windows stay as we set them. We'll let you know which areas to avoid.
Drying time depends on the materials and how much water was involved. We check moisture as drying progresses and remove the equipment when readings show the materials are dry.
Most families can stay in the home during drying, depending on the extent and type of damage. We'll talk it through with you.

Mitigation, then your choice of contractor
We focus on mitigation and dry-out. We don't do reconstruction. Once your home is dry, you can hire any contractor you like to replace flooring, drywall or cabinets, using our documentation of what was removed and dried.
Insurance
We provide photos, moisture readings and drying records and can communicate with your insurance representative. Your insurance company decides coverage. Insurance documentation.
Homeowner water damage questions
Where is my main water shutoff?
In many Las Vegas homes it's near the front of the house, often close to where the water line enters, in the garage, or at the meter box near the curb. Knowing where it is before an emergency can save a lot of damage.
My floor looks dry now. Do I still need drying?
Possibly. Water that soaks into pad, subfloor, drywall and cabinet bases can stay wet after the surface dries, especially in our dry climate. Moisture readings are the way to know for sure.
Will you need to remove my baseboards or drywall?
Only if the materials can't be dried in place or are too damaged. Sometimes small openings or baseboard removal let air reach a wet wall cavity.
