Mitigation Specialists

We focus on mitigation and dry-out, not reconstruction

Our job is the urgent part: stopping the damage from spreading and drying the structure properly. We don't do build-back, so our recommendations are about what your property needs to be dried, nothing more.

What we do

  • Water extraction and removal
  • Structural drying and dehumidification
  • Moisture detection and monitoring
  • Controlled demolition of unsalvageable wet materials
  • Mitigation documentation for you and your insurer

Once the structure is dry, you're free to choose any contractor you like for repairs.

Desert homes and buildings have their own weak spots. These are some of the most common sources of the water losses we dry out.

Slab leaksLeaks in pipes under the foundation that can soak flooring and walls before they're noticed.
Water heater failuresHard water wears tanks and fittings; a failed tank can flood a garage, closet or unit.
AC condensate overflowClogged drain lines and pans during long cooling seasons, often leaking into ceilings.
Supply lines & appliancesToilet, sink, dishwasher, washer and refrigerator lines that crack or burst.
Burst pipesPipe failures that release a lot of water fast, often inside walls or ceilings.
Monsoon stormsSummer flash floods, roof leaks and water intrusion through doors and windows.
Unit-to-unit leaksIn condos and apartments, water from one unit often travels to the units below.
Sewage backupsDrain and sewer line backups that need extraction, material removal and drying.

FAQ

Water damage questions

What should I do right after I find water damage?

If it's safe, stop the water at the source or shut off the main water valve. Keep people away from areas where water may have reached outlets or electrical equipment. Move valuables out of the wet area, take photos for your records, and call us at (702) 354-5811. The sooner extraction and drying start, the less the water can spread.

What's the difference between water mitigation and restoration?

Mitigation is the emergency work that stops the damage from getting worse: extracting water, removing unsalvageable materials, and drying the structure. Reconstruction (replacing drywall, flooring, paint and so on) comes after. We specialize in mitigation and dry-out and do not perform build-back.

Why do you remove drywall or baseboards?

Water often gets trapped behind walls and under baseboards where air can't reach it. When materials can't be dried in place or are too damaged to save, we remove them in a controlled way so the structure behind them can dry properly.

How do you know when everything is dry?

We use moisture meters to take readings in the affected materials and compare them against dry, unaffected areas. Drying continues until the readings show the materials are dry. How long that takes depends on the materials, how much water was involved and how long it sat.

Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes. We can document the mitigation work with photos, moisture readings and drying records, and we communicate with insurance representatives when needed. Your insurance company decides coverage based on your policy, so we recommend contacting your insurer about your claim.

Do you handle commercial water damage?

Yes. We provide water-damage mitigation for commercial properties including offices, retail spaces, multi-unit buildings and HOA communities, and we coordinate with property managers and their insurance representatives.
